Reginald L. Thomas is an assistant professor at Kentucky State University where he teaches course in the fields of business law and criminal law. He is also a practicing attorney in central Kentucky with over twenty-five years of experience in the fields of business, corporate, and securities law. His area of legal practice includes business formations, commercial loan closings, contract drafting and negotiation, and commercial litigation. Mr. Thomas is a frequent speaker at workshops sponsored by the Bluegrass Small Business Development Center of the University of Kentucky and the United Way of the Bluegrass. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School. He is a member of the Kentucky, District of Columbia, and Massachusetts Bar Associations. Mr. Thomas is the author of two articles, Regulation of Business Development Companies Under The Investment Company Act, 55 Southern California Law Review 895 (1982) and A New Look at 10b-5: The Sale of Business Doctrine, 33 Syracuse Law Review 999 (1982).
